NTL GIRLS SOCCER: BROOKE WILCOX SCORES FOUR GOALS TO LIFT NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD TO LEAGUE WIN OVER NEB (2025-09-03)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportROME — Senior Brooke Wilcox scored four goals to lead the Lady Tigers to a 5-1 win over Northeast Bradford in NTL girls soccer action here Wednesday.
Wilcox scored off an assist from Madi Baker less than nine minutes into the game and scored again 17 minutes in off a Leila Garverick helper to give the Lady Tigers a 2-0 lead. NEB cut it in half before the break and NP-Mansfield led 2-1 at the half.
Wilcox scored her hat trick 15 minutes into the second half, off an Iris Irwin assist, and Garverick scored at the 67:40 mark on a Serena Boiywo assist to give the Tigers a 4-2 lead.
Wilcox scored the final goal with nine minutes left, off a Jayden Burton assist, to provide the 5-1 final.
NEB held an 8-6 advantage in shots-on-goal while Mansfield had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
Keeper Avalon Rew recorded seven saves in the win for the Lady Tigers.
North Penn-Mansfield (1-2) returns to action Saturday when they host Athens for a 10 a.m. match-up.
