NTL GOLF: HORNETS EARN PAIR OF WINS AT TYOGA (2025-09-03)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Hornets hosted a tri-match with North Penn-Mansfield and Athens at Tyoga Golf Course Wednesday and picked up a pair of head-to-head wins.
Wellsboro shot a 160 on the day to beat both Athens (169) and Mansfield (169), who tied.
Syler Pietrzyk and Mason Brill each carded a 39 to lead the Hornets while Ben Jackson and Chase Schultz each shot a 41. Kiernan Whitsell had a 45 and Sam Jackson had a 47 for Wellsboro.
The Hornets (19-7) return to play on Monday when they host Wyalusing and Sayre at Tyoga.
