NTL GOLF: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD EARNS DRAW WITH ATHENS, FALLS TO WELLSBORO (2025-09-03)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The North Penn-Mansfield golf team went 0-1-1 at Tyoga Golf Course on Wednesday, falling to the host Hornets and drawing even with Athens.
Wellsboro scored a 160 while the Tigers and Athens each had a 169.
Andy Hermansen earned low-honors on the day, carding a 37, while Benton Zay had a 41, Alex Kalamaris shot a 45 and Ray Nickerson rounded out the Tigers’ scoring with a 46.
Colin Oakes and Layne Cummings each shot a 53 for Mansfield.
North Penn-Mansfield (16-10-1) will next host Cowanesque Valley and Canton at Corey Creek, next Thursday.
