Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro sophomore football player Griffin Morral and North Penn-Mansfield senior soccer player Brooke Wilcox.
Morral went 6-for-18 for 101 yards passing with a touchdown and ran for 78 yards and a score on 15 carries in the Hornets 14-6 win over Wyalusing.
Wilcox scored four goals in the Lady Tigers’ 5-1, league win over Northeast Bradford and added North Penn-Mansfield’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Athens.
