NTL BOYS SOCCER: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY TOPPED BY NEB (2021-09-16) Northern Tier West Sports Report LIBERTY — The Mounties fell behind 2-1 by the half Thursday against Northeast Bradford, tied it up early in the second, but gave up four unanswered goals and fell to the Panthers, 6-2.
Just three minutes after NEB opened the scoring, Jackson Brion tied the game at one with his floater that was just out of reach of the leaping NEB goalie.
Just two minutes into the second half, Caiden Alexander was true on a penalty kick, tying the game at two.
Many of NEB’s 28 shots-on-goal came in the second half, where the Panthers would secure the win with four goals. NPL had 14 shots on goal.
The Mounties will return to action Tuesday when they host Troy at 4 p.m.
