Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Lady Hornets scored a goal in each half and keeper Jadyn Dunlap stopped all three shots she faced as Wellsboro blanked Northeast Bradford 2-0 in NTL girls’ soccer action here Tuesday.
Emily Benjamin gave Wellsboro a 1-0 lead in the first half and Luna Moyer tacked on a score in the second frame off a Haylie Smith assist to provide the 2-0 final score.
Wellsboro had a 15-3 advantage in shots-on-goal and each team had three corner kicks.
The Hornets (4-2) are scheduled to visit Hughesville for a non-league match on Saturday.
