NTL BOYS SOCCER: MOUNTIES SETTLE FOR DRAW WITH ATHENS (2025-09-11)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — The North Penn-Liberty and Athens boys soccer teams each recorded a clean sheet in their NTL match-up here Thursday as the Mounties and Wildcats played through two overtime periods and settled for a 0-0 draw.
The Mounties had a 12-7 advantage in shots as keeper Deakon Valentine made four saves while Athens held a 9-4 edge in corner kicks.
North Penn-Liberty (4-3-1) returns to action on Saturday when they host Northeast Bradford (5-1) at 10 a.m.
