HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON 1-1 AT NEB TOURNEY (2025-09-13)

ROME — Williamson competed at the Northeast Bradford girls soccer tournament on Saturday and went 1-1, beating the host Lady Panthers 5-1 and falling 7-0 to Muncy.

In their win over Northeast Bradford, the Lady Warriors had a 22-6 advantage in shots-on-goal as Maddy Bailey collected the hat trick and Anna Lee and Star Ordway each had a score. Zeraya Wilson had three assists and Ordway had one.

Williamson used five goalies in the win, with Bailey starting and playing 20 minutes with three saves. Katie Huzey played 20 minutes and had one save and allowed the lone NEB goal. Lee played the first 20 minutes of the second half and had three saves, Leann Kessing played eight minutes and Rachel Little played the final 12 minutes with one save.

In the Warriors’ loss to Muncy, the Lady Indians had a 24-2 advantage in shots-on-goal and a 5-0 edge in corner kicks. 

Kessing played in net in the first half and had five goals scored against her and made seven saves while Helena Gonzales played 20 minutes of the second half and allowed two goals with four saves and Wilson finished the final 20 minutes and made six saves.

Williamson (4-4) returns to play on Tuesday when they host North Penn-Mansfield.
