HIGH SCHOOL XC: COWANESQUE VALLEY RUNS AT McQUAID INVITE (2025-09-27)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportROCHESTER, NY — The Cowanesque Valley boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Rochester, NY on Saturday to run in the 60th McQuaid XC Invitational.
In the Girls Varsity A-2 (small schools) 3-mile race, Lainey Hackett (20:40.2) finished 28th among the 322 runners while Maddison Fay (21:25.1) was 53rd and Kendra Miles (26:28.0) was 270th.
In the Boys Varsity A-2 (small schools) 3-miler, Hunter Simonds (17:06.6) finished 52nd among the 405 runners, Gabriel Crance (18:59.9) was 160th, Judah Mummert (20:06.1) was 247th, Isaiah Fuhrer (20:57.2) was 294th and Carsyn Kemp (21:15.1) was 305th.
Cowanesque Valley is set to host a quad-meet on Tuesday with Wellsboro, North Penn-Mansfield and Northeast Bradford.
