HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: HORNETS SWEEP COUDERSPORT FOR NON-LEAGUE WIN (2025-09-27)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Wellsboro volleyball team hosted Coudersport for a non-league match on Saturday and swept the Lady Falcons, 3-0.
The Lady Hornets won the first three sets, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-23.
Blake Eckart had 13 kills for Wellsboro while Peyton Keane had nine kills and seven digs and Kendall Sweet added seven kills and nine service points with five aces.
Taylor Main had 20 assists, five digs and eight points with two aces, Maddy Cruttenden had 17 digs, Ellie Largey had seven assists and Ady Frantz had two blocks.
The Hornets, now 10-2 on the season, are scheduled to visit Coudersport for a rematch on Tuesday.
