NTL CROSS COUNTRY: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD BOYS GO 2-1 AT CV, LADY TIGERS 0-3 (2025-09-30)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — The North Penn-Mansfield cross country teams competed in a quad meet at Cowanesque Valley on Tuesday, with the boys finishing 2-1 and the girls 0-3.
The Tigers beat CV 19-39 and Wellsboro 19-36 while falling to NEB, 21-36.
Junior Michael Knefley (17:33) finished 1st overall for the Tigers while junior Braden VanLoon (19:14) was 7th, Mason Forer (19:23) was 9th, sophomore Isaiah VanLoon (21:08) was 13th, freshman Dylan Kolb (21:17) was 14th, freshman Nolan Palmatier (22:45) was 20th and Luke Chakraborty (23:31) was 23rd.
The Lady Tigers lost 22-33 to CV, 23-29 to NEB and 22-36 to Wellsboro.
Junior Jaci Fairchild (21:09) was NP-Mansfield’s top finisher, placing 2nd, while junior Carolyn Cherwinski (25:00) was 9th.
