Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are North Penn-Mansfield soccer player Brooke Wilcox and Cowanesque Valley football duo Kegan Lane and Dave Hess.
Wilcox scored 14 goals and added two assists in leading the Lady Tigers to a 3-0 week .. scoring seven goals .. including the 50th of her career .. with an assist in a 10-0 rout of CMVT, making both goals in a 2-0 win over Athens and scoring five goals with an assist to lead North Penn-Mansfield to a 6-2 win over Sullivan County.
In Cowanesque Valley’s 63-0 win over CMVT, Hess finished with 58 yards rushing and a TD on four carries, three catches for 75 yards and a score and 2-for-5 passing for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Lane had 128 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries and had one catch for a 21-yard TD.
