Kai Wheeland scored 10 minutes into the game off a Bryce Kent assist and Mason Forer found the net off a deflection six minutes later to give the Mounties a 2-0 lead at the break. 

After allowing a Towanda score in the second half, the Mounties added an insurance goal from Brody Grinnell off a Silas Boiywo helper to provide the 3-1 final.

Towanda held a 9-8 edge in shots-on-goal and a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. 

Keeper Deakon Valentine made eight saves in goal for the Mounties.  

Now 9-7-1 on the season, North Penn-Liberty has one regular season game remaining .. Thursday at Athens. The Mounties tied Athens 0-0, who clinched the NTL title Tuesday, in the teams’ first meeting.
