NTL VOLLEYBALL: WELLSBORO ROLLS TO SWEEP OF COWANESQUE VALLEY (2025-10-09)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Wellsboro won their ninth straight match and improved to 14-2 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of the host Cowanesque Valley Lady Indians here Thursday night.
The Lady Hornets won the first three sets .. 25-11, 25-15 and 25-12.
Maddy Cruttenden had 11 service points with two aces and nine digs while Taylor Main had 10 assists and eight points and Ellie Largey had 18 assists and seven digs.
Blake Eckart had 11 kills, Peyton Keane had 10 and Ady Frantz added six kills.
The Hornets (14-2) host Williamson (11-2) on Tuesday, while Cowanesque Valley (2-12) is at NEB, also on Tuesday.
