NTL GOLF: WELLSBORO ADVANCES TWO OF FIVE DISTRICT QUALIFIERS TO FINAL ROUND (2025-10-09)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMONTGOMERY — Wellsboro had five golfers qualify for and play in the first round of the District 4 individual championships on Thursday, where Syler Pietrzyk and Chase Schultz made the cut and advanced to Saturday’s final round.
Pietrzyk finished tied for 9th place after carding an 82 on the day .. 42 on the front nine, 40 on the back .. with a birdie and eight pars in his round.
Schultz shot an 89 .. 45 on the front, 44 on the back .. to finish tied for 22nd place and make the cut for Saturday.
Sam Jackson missed the cut by six strokes with a 96 while Case Butler carded a 99 and Ben Jackson had a 100.
The final round will be played on Saturday at Williamsport Country Club.
