Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are North Penn-Mansfield golfer Andy Hermansen and Wellsboro cross country runner Lauren Kosek.
Hermansen followed up a Day 1 81 with a 2-under par 69 on Day 2 of the District 4 individual golf championships at Williamsport Country Club to win the Class 2A title.
Kosek won the NTL Coaches Invitational in 18:24.1, more than 30 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
