Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — North Penn-Liberty swept the visiting Lady Black Knights here Thursday, winning 3-0 for their 9th win on the season and a guaranteed berth in the District 4 Class 2A playoffs.
The Lady Mounties won the first three sets 25-18, 25-11 and 25-14.
Kameron Lightner finished with 17 digs and 12 kills while Haley Litzelman had 17 kills, three blocks and six digs.
Madison Smith had 17 assists and five digs, Elaina Shaw had 15 assists, three kills and 11 digs, Gabby Bubeck had four kills and nine digs and Maddie McNamara had eight digs.
North Penn-Liberty (9-6) returns to action on Tuesday at Loyalsock (11-3) and plays their final regular season game at Canton (7-9) on Thursday.
