HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: LADY HORNETS EARN NON-LEAGUE WIN OVER SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT (2025-10-20)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportSOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — The Wellsboro volleyball team made their final road trip of the regular season on Monday and swept the host South Williamsport Lady Mounties, 3-0.
The Lady Hornets won the first three sets .. 25-13, 25-19 and 25-16.
Ellie Largey collected 19 assists and 11 service points on the night, while Peyton Keane added nine kills and eight digs. Kendall Sweet had seven kills and seven points, Blake Eckart had nine kills and five digs, Jill Mickey had nine points with two aces, Maddy Cruttenden had 10 digs and Taylor Main had five assists.
Wellsboro improves to 16-3 on the year with the win and finishes their regular season at home Tuesday when they host Towanda. The Lady Knights are 9-10 on the season and need a win against Wellsboro to qualify for Districts.
