Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The All-Tioga County boys’ cross country ‘Fab 5’ is led by ‘Runner of the Year’
Michael Knefley from North Penn-Mansfield.
Knefley, a junior who was also named to the 2024 All-Tioga County team and was the 2023 ’Newcomer of the Year’ as a freshman, won the NTL Coaches Invitational, placed 5th at the District IV Championships and finished 72nd at States this season.
Joining Knefley on the All-Tioga County boys’ XC ‘Fab 5’ are ..
Henry Whitney, Wellsboro, sr. .. placed 3rd at the NTL meet, 7th at Districts and 44th at States.
Max Macias, Wellsboro, sr. .. was 4th at the NTL meet, 13th at the District IV Championships and 73rd at States.
Hunter Simonds, Cowanesque Valley, sr. .. was 17th at the NTL meet and 21st at Districts.
Gabę Crance, Cowanesque Valley, sr. .. finished 15th at Districts and 43rd at the NTL meet.
