Northern Tier West Sports ReportGALETON — Williamson jumped out to leads of 21-2 after the first quarter and 42-6 at the break on their way to a season-opening 54-8 win over the host Lady Tigers at the Galeton Girls Basketball Tournament Friday.
Kenna Thomas led the Lady Warriors with 25 points and grabbed her 500th career rebound in the win.
Bailey Snyder and Aubrey Wells each had eight points while Olivia Nolan scored seven points, Mikayla Anderson and Jocelyn Colegrove had two points each and Alexis Sprague and Leann Kessing each had a point.
Williamson (1-0) will play in the tournament final on Saturday.
