HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY FINISHES 2ND AT HOSTED RYAN OSTROM MEMORIAL TOURNEY (December 6, 2025)

LIBERTY — The North Penn-Liberty girls went 1-1 in their three-team Ryan Ostrom Memorial Basketball Tournament Saturday, beating Sullivan County 34-16 and falling 46-41 to Canton to finish second.

Against Sullivan County, Haley Litzelman finished with a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds and added seven steals and four assists in the win. 

Kendall Graham had five points, five assists and three steals while Scarlett Graham had four points and two steals and Victoria McTish had four points and six rebounds. 

In the final, the Lady Mounties fell behind 19-9 after the first quarter .. with Litzelman scoring all nine NPL points .. before cutting the lead to 29-23 at the break with a 14-10 second frame.  

Liberty pulled to within three at 38-35 with a 12-9 third quarter but Canton held the Mounties off with an 8-6 fourth quarter to provide the final.

Litzelman finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for her second straight double-double and added four  assists, while Kendall Graham had six points, four rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots, Scarlett Graham had six points and two rebounds, McTish had six points and five rebounds and Serena Boiywo had three points and seven rebounds.

Litzelman and Kendall Graham were named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Lady Mounties (1-1) are scheduled to return to play on Wednesday at North Penn-Mansfield.
