HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WRESTLING: JORDAN RUMSEY, ISLA TWOEY LEAD LADY HORNETS TO 5TH-PLACE FINISH AT JARVIS TOURNEY(December 6, 2025) Northern Tier West Sports Report ATHENS — The Wellsboro girls’ wrestling team competed at the Jarvis Tournament here Saturday with Jordan Rumsey (106) and Isla Twoey (100) leading the Lady Hornets to a 5th-place finish.
Rumsey went undefeated on the day, earning four falls against no losses at 106 pounds, while Twoey went 4-1 with four falls in the 100-pound weight class.
Katherine Whitney went 3-2 with a pair of falls and an 11-9 win in the 5th-place match at 136 pounds, while Phoebe Bowen had three falls and lost twice at 190.
Riley Kilburn went 2-3 with two pins at 170 pounds, Zoey Roosa was 1-4 at 148 pounds and Rose Sguera went 0-5 at 130 to round out the Hornets’ day.
