Pequignot opened his junior season with a dominant performance at the DKI Invitational, going 4-0 and winning the 121-pound title with three straight tech falls. 

Pequignot followed up his impressive Day 1 .. two TF’s .. by drawing a forfeit in the semifinals and then working for a 20-4 technical fall win in the finals over Berwick’s Carmen Malt, a senior with 94 career wins who went 32-6 last season. 

Litzelman began her senior season off with a pair of double-doubles in the Lady Mounties’ 1-1 start .. scoring 21 points with 17 rebounds, seven steals and four assists in a 34-16 win over Sullivan County and netting 20 points with 10 boards and four assists in NPL’s 46-41 loss to Canton in the Ryan Ostrom Memorial Tournament final.
