HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LADY HORNETS FALL TO ADDISON (NY) (December 8, 2025)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportADDISON, NY — The Wellsboro girls’ basketball team traveled across the border to take on Addison (NY) Monday and returned with a 31-20 loss.
Addison took a 4-2 lead after the first quarter and went up 12-8 at halftime. The lead was pushed to 21-15 in the third frame and the Lady Hornets were doubled up 10-5 in the fourth to provide the final.
Ady Frantz led Wellsboro with 10 points while Kya Lawton and Kate Bryant had three points each and Lily Wagner and Lena Rothermel had two points apiece.
Wellsboro (0-2) is scheduled to visit Northeast Bradford on Wednesday.
