NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LADY TIGERS EARN WIN OVER WELLSBORO (December 19, 2025)Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield hosted Wellsboro for an NTL girls’ basketball match-up here Friday and the Lady Tigers came away with a 44-27 win over the Lady Hornets.
NPM led 8-4 after the first quarter, 14-8 at the break and 33-19 after three quarters of play.
Maddie McNamara led Mansfield with 16 points and added seven steals, six rebounds and four assists while Kam Lightner had a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Julia Kaczynski added 10 points for the Lady Tigers and Emmi Route had four points.
Kate Bryant led Wellsboro with eight points while Lily Wagner had seven points and Kya Lawton, Ady Frantz and Huslander had four points each.
North Penn-Mansfield (2-1) returns to play on Monday at Canton, while Wellsboro (1-4) host Williamson, also on Monday.
