HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY WINS ADDISON (NY) CHRISTMAS TOURNEY OPENER (December 27, 2025)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportADDISON, NY — The Cowanesque Valley boys’ basketball team won their first round match-up 58-43 over Arkport-Canseraga at the Addison (NY) Christmas Tournament Saturday.
The Indians opened up an 8-7 first quarter lead with a 14-8 second frame to lead 22-15 at halftime. An 18-13 third quarter and an 18-15 fourth provided the final.
Levi Stahli led CV with 17 points while Joshua Teague and Ashtyn Burdick added 10 points each, Parker Lee had nine points, Reed Vargeson had seven, Trevor Hollenbach had four points and Jacob Johnson rounded out the Indians’ scoring with one point.
The Indians (2-4) will play in the tourney final on Tuesday.
