HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY FALLS IN ADDISON TOURNEY FINAL (December 30, 2025)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportADDISON, NY — Cowanesque Valley held a halftime lead in the championship game at the Addison Christmas Tournament on Tuesday, but would ultimately fall 54-45 to the host Knights.
The Indians fell behind 12-10 after a quarter of play before rallying to take a 21-20 lead into the locker rooms. Addison outscored CV 15-9 in the third quarter and sealed the title with a 19-15 final frame.
Ashtyn Burdick led CV with 17 points, while Joshua Teague had 11 points and Levi Stahli joined in double digits with 10 points.
Parker Lee scored three points and Reed Vargeson and Jacob Johnson had two points each.
Cowanesque Valley (2-5) is scheduled to return to play on Saturday when they host Coudersport.
