Northern Tier West Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — North Penn-Liberty beat St. John Neumann Regional Academy 41-19 in a non-league girls’ basketball match-up here Saturday.
Haley Litzelman led the Lady Mounties with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds and added four assists and five steals in the win.
NPL fell behind 8-4 after the first quarter and rallied to outscore the Lady Knights 37-11 the rest of the way to earn the win.
Scarlett Graham scored six points and added four steals, three assists and two rebounds, Kendall Graham had five points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks, Victoria MctTsh scored four points and grabbed seven rebounds and Colette Frey had two points and five rebounds.
The Mounties (4-3) return to action Monday when they visit North Penn-Mansfield.
