HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: TIGERS FALL TO MONTOURSVILLE (January 3, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMONTOURSVILLE — North Penn-Mansfield traveled to 4A Montoursville on Saturday for a non-league match-up and fell 69-40 to the host Warriors.
Andy Hermansen led the Tigers with 19 points in the loss, including a 10-for-12 effort from the free throw line.
Montoursville took leads of 12-7 after the first quarter, 26-18 at the break and 45-33 after three quarters of play.
Jason Harer had a double-double in the loss with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Collin Oakes had four points, Colton Pellet and Kevin Clemente-Vazquez had three points each and Patrick Youmans added one point.
The Tigers (3-3) are scheduled to host Athens on Tuesday.
