NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LITZELMAN DOUBLE-DOUBLE LIFTS NP-LIBERTY OVER WILLIAMSON (January 7, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — North Penn-Liberty used a Haley Litzelman double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds to earn an NTL small school win here Wednesday, topping host Williamson 39-27.
The Lady Mounties jumped out to a 15-6 lead as Litzelman scored 11 first quarter points, and increased their lead to double-digits at 24-14 by halftime. Williamson won the third frame 7-5 to go into the fourth down 29-21 before NPL sealed the win with a 10-6 final period.
Scarlett Graham added five points, five rebounds and five steals for Liberty in the win, while Victoria McTish had five points, five rebounds and two steals, Kendall Graham had three points, four rebounds and three assists and Colette Frey had two points and two rebounds.
Olivia Nolan led Williamson with eight points while Kenna Thomas had seven, Jocelyn Colegrove had six, Bailey Snyder had four and Leann Kessing added two points.
North Penn-Liberty (4-5) returns to play Friday when they host Canton, while Williamson visits Cowanesque Valley, also on Friday.
