NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: HARER TRIPLE-DOUBLE LIFTS NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD TO WIN OVER WYALUSING (January 8, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield got a triple-double from Jason Harer and the Tigers rallied in the fourth quarter to down Wyalusing 52-48 here Thursday.
Harer finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the Tigers’ second straight league win.
Harer, Andy Hermansen and Patrick Youmans helped NPM keep pace with the visiting Rams with four points each in a 15-15 first quarter before Wyalusing edged the Tigers 13-11 in the second frame to take a 28-26 lead into the locker rooms.
Wyalusing would extend their lead to 41-36 after the third quarter before Mansfield used seven points from Hermansen, five from Harer and a pair of clutch free throws by Collin Oakes with four seconds left to seal the comeback win.
Hermansen finished with 13 points and five assists while Youmans added eight points in the win. Kevin Clemente-Vazquez had three points and Oakes, Colton Pellett and Keaton Manikowski had two points each.
The Tigers (5-5) are scheduled to visit North Penn-Liberty on Saturday.
