NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON ROUTS COWANESQUE VALLEY (January 9, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Williamson held the host CV Lady Indians scoreless in two quarters and rolled to a 42-10 win in NTL girls’ basketball play here Friday night.
The Lady Warriors took a 17-0 lead after a quarter of play and went up 27-4 at the break. An 11-0 Williamson third led to a 6-4 Cowanesque Valley fourth quarter and the 42-10 final.
Kenna Thomas led all scorers with 15 points while Olivia Nolan had nine points, Bailey Snyder had eight, Leann Kessing had six and Ashlynn Wells and Jocelyn Colegrove rounded out Williamson’s scoring with two points each.
Jaylynn Anderson led CV with four points, Brae Balada had three points, Starr Ordway scored two points and Reagan Neally added one point in the loss.
Williamson (4-5) returns to action Monday when they host Athens, while Cowanesque Valley (2-8) hosts Galeton, also on Monday.
