HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: CV BEATS GALETON ON SENIOR NIGHT (January 10, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — The Cowanesque Valley girls’ basketball team celebrated their senior players Saturday and downed visiting Galeton 38-18 for the Lady Indians’ third win of the season.
Senior Starr Ordway led the Indians with 18 points in the win, while classmates Arianna Cary and Joey Steadman had two points each.
Jaylynn Anderson scored nine points while Des Stickler, Brae Balada and Taylor Eldridge had two points each and Lilah LaBarron had one point for CV.
The Lady Indians took leads of 11-2 after the first quarter, 20-3 at the break and 31-10 after three quarters of play.
CV (3-8) has a game scheduled at Northeast Bradford on Wednesday.
