HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LADY MOUNTIES' COMEBACK FALLS SHORT IN LOSS TO WYALUSING (January 22, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — Haley Litzelman and Kendall Graham combined for 36 points but a fourth quarter comeback would fall just short as the Lady Mounties were edged 49-47 by Wyalusing.
Wyalusing took a 13-10 lead after the first quarter and went into the locker rooms up 25-19. Litzelman scored 11 third quarter points but the Lady Rams extended their lead to 43-35 as they headed to the fourth.
Kendall Graham hit her fifth and sixth 3-pointers of the game in the final frame but it wouldn’t be enough as the visiting Rams held the Mounties to a 12-6 advantage to secure the win.
Litzelman and Kendall Graham each finished with 18 points, with Litzelman adding 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks and Graham adding three boards, three assists and two blocked shots.
Victoria McTish and Scarlett Graham scored four points each and Serena Boiywo added three points.
The loss snaps a three game winning streak and evens the Mounties season record at 7-7. They’re scheduled to visit Meadowbrook Friday.
