WYALUSING — North Penn-Liberty went on the road and won their sixth straight game Friday night, beating Wyalusing 65-51.

The Mounties have now won 10 of their last 11 games after a 1-4 start to the season.

Friday, Liberty used a pair of 18-11 quarters to outdistance the Rams. Tied at 15-all after one quarter of play, NPL went into the break up 33-26 after Luke Kreger and Landon Mattern each netted eight second quarter points. 

The Mounties went into the final frame up 51-37 and held the Rams off with a 14-all fourth.

NPL put four players into double figures as Kreger led the way with 20 points and added three steals and three assists. 

Mattern scored 13 points and had five assists and four steals and Evan McTish and Conner Lewis each recorded double-doubles .. with McTish scoring 12 points and grabbing 17 rebounds and Lewis scoring 12 with 10 boards. 

Brody Grinnell added six points and had four steals and Sudan Benner rounded out the Mounties’ scoring attack with two points. 

Now 11-5 on the season, North Penn-Liberty is scheduled to host Sayre on Monday, Troy on Wednesday and Northeast Bradford on Friday.
