HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON FALLS TO GALETON (February 2, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson jumped out to an early lead but fell 69-49 to Galeton in non-league boys’ basketball play here Monday.
The Warriors led 16-9 after the first quarter, but Galeton used a 23-8 second to take a 32-24 lead into the locker rooms. Williamson scored 17 points in the third quarter but the visiting Tigers took a 51-41 lead into the fourth and finished with an 18-8 quarter to seal the win over the Warriors.
Kayden Moon led Williamson with 16 points while Maddox Hartman had 15 points, AJ Hargarther had eight, Owen Cilino scored five points, Uriah Davis had three points and Alex Watson had two points.
Williamson (4-16) has two games remaining on their season, starting Wednesday at home against North Penn-Liberty.
