Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley built a double-digit lead on Sayre here Wednesday and beat the visiting Redskins 60-40 in an NTL-II boys’ basketball match-up.
The Indians took leads of 16-7 after a quarter, 30-17 at the half and 42-24 after three quarters.
Levi Stahli led CV with 14 points while Joshua Teague joined in double figures with 10 points.
Ashtyn Burdick scored nine points, Parker Lee, Carsyn Kemp and Reed Vargeson had eight points each and Justin Mack had three points.
CV (7-13) has one regular season game remaining, Friday against Williamson.
