NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD FALLS TO WYALUSING (February 5, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield made a late charge against Wyalusing but would fall to the Rams, 53-49, in NTL girls’ basketball play here Thursday.
Wyalusing took a 12-7 lead after a quarter of play and the Lady Tigers cut into the lead by halftime, taking the second quarter 16-14 to go into the locker rooms down 26-23.
A 10-8 Wyalusing third made it 36-31 Rams before NPM rallied for 18 fourth quarter points. Wyalusing scored 17 in the final frame to seal the win.
Maddy McNamara led the Lady Tigers with 17 points and added five assists and six steals, while Addie Lehman scored nine points and had three assists and three steals, Julia Kaczynski had nine points, two blocked shots and two steals, Elaina Shaw had eight points and four rebounds and Kameron Lightner had six points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
North Penn-Mansfield (11-9) has two regular season games remaining, starting Saturday at Troy.
