NTL WRESTLING: STEVENS EARNS SECTIONAL TITLE FOR HORNETS (February 14, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Hornets crowned a North Section champ in their home gym here Saturday as Hayden Stevens won the 215-pound title.
Stevens won each of his first two matches 10-1 to reach the finals and beat Wyalusing’s Daniel Fox 7-0 to claim the championship.
Mason Greene (107) went 1-2 on the day and just missed qualifying for next week’s District IV tournament with a 5th-place finish.
Wyatt Kilburn (172) also finished in 5th place after a 2-2 day.
Vaughn Shannon (127) went 1-2 for the Hornets and Connor Linden (121) went 0-2 as Wellsboro scored 40 team points to finish in 9th place.
