DISTRICT IV GIRLS BASKETBALL: NPL LADY MOUNTIES TO FACE NORRY CHRISTIAN IN CLASS A OPENER (February 17, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportNORTHUMBERLAND, PA — The North Penn-Liberty Lady Mounties qualified for the District IV Class A playoffs as the No. 7 seed and will travel to take on No. 2 seed Northumberland Christian on Wednesday.
The Lady Mounties finished 9-13 and NCA went 11-4. While the two didn’t play each other this season, they have several common opponents.
Northumberland Christian beat No. 5 seed Meadowbrook 29-20 while Liberty lost 39-36 to the Lions. Both beat Sullivan County .. NCA 22-18 and NPL 34-16, and both also beat St. John Neumann .. NCA 31-14 and Liberty 41-19.
North Penn-Liberty is led by senior Haley Litzelman, who averages a double-double of 22.5 points and over 13 rebounds per game.
Junior Kendall Graham adds 9 points per game while freshmen Scarlett Graham (4.9 PPG, 4 RPG, 3 SPG), Victoria McTish (4 PPG, 6.1 RPG) and Serena Boiywo (2.2 PPG, 5.5 RPG) round out the Lady Mounties’ starting five.
With a win Wednesday the Mounties would advance to face the winner between No. 3 seed Benton and No. 6 Sullivan County.
