DISTRICT IV GIRLS BASKETBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY TOPPED BY MUNCY IN 2A FIRST ROUND (February 17, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMUNCY — The Cowanesque Valley girls had their season ended here Tuesday, losing 58-21 to Muncy in the first round of the District IV 2A playoffs.
Muncy took leads of 22-4 after a quarter of play, 36-8 at halftime and 50-19 after three quarters.
Starr Ordway led CV with five points while Addy Lanzo and Taylor Eldridge had four points each, Jaylynn Anderson and Des Stickler each scored three points and Lilah LaBarron and Mayla Bates had one point each.
Cowanesque Valley finishes the 2025-’26 season with a record of 4-19.
