DISTRICT IV WRESTLING: NPL'S NICKERSON & PEQUIGNOT BOTH THROUGH TO SEMIS (February 20, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — North Penn-Liberty got both Bodhi Nickerson and Bryce Pequignot into the semifinals at Day 1 of the District IV Championships as both wrestlers won their quarterfinal matches Friday.
Nickerson, the No. 2 seed at 107 pounds, won by tech fall, 17-1, in 3:30 Friday night and will face Benton freshman Korben Collae on Saturday in the semis. Collae, the No. 6 seed, pinned No. 3 seed Collin Roman from Mifflinburg to reach the semifinals.
No. 2 seed Pequigno recorded a fall in 3:57 Friday and will wrestle No. 3 seed Liam Seeley from Montgomery in the 121-pound semis. Seeley was a 13-4 winner Friday night.
Wrestling begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
