After allowing three first inning runs to Canton, the Lady Indians tied it up in the bottom half and went up 7-3 with a four run second frame. 

The Warriors cut the lead to 7-4 with runs in the third and fourth, CV added a run in the bottom of the fourth and Canton made it 8-7 with two runs in the top of the fifth. The Lady Indians plated four runs in the bottom half of the fifth to provide the final.

Lilah LaBarron got the win for CV, throwing all seven innings and allowing seven runs .. two earned runs.. on seven hits and five walks with 10 strikeouts. 

Raegan Watson collected three base hits and LaBarron had two .. each with a double .. and both had three RBI and two runs scored while Arinna Cary had two doubles and two RBI.

Braelynn Balada had two base hits and scored a run, Zeraya Wilson had a double and scored three runs, Emma Carl had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Natalie Grab had a hit and scored a run.

Cowanesque Valley (1-0) is scheduled to return to play on Saturday at Northeast Bradford.
