COLLEGE BASEBALL: WELLSBORO'S DARRYN CALLAHAN .. SLIPPERY ROCK (March 31, 2026)

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA — Wellsboro alum Darryn Callahan has had a solid start to his senior baseball season and has helped Slippery Rock to a 14-9 record.

Callahan has started all 23 games for The Rock .. either in right field or as a DH .. and has racked up a .353 batting average and a .450 OBP. His 24 base hits is 4th on the team, as are his five doubles. He’s tied for first on The Rock with three home runs and has 18 RBI and 15 runs scored, both 3rd on the team. 

Callahan has 27 putouts in the field and hasn’t committed an error all season. 

Slippery Rock is 3-5 in the PSAC West, including four losses to 8-0 Seton Hill.
