WILLIAMSPORT — Former North Penn-Liberty standout Mackenzi Tice has led her Penn College Wildcats softball team to a 13-3 start on the season.

Tice, the Wildcats ace, has thrown 62 innings and racked up an 8-1 record. Opponents are hitting just .170 against Tice and the former two-time All-Tioga County ‘Player of the Year’ has 61 strikeouts, a 1.70 ERA, seven complete games and a save.

At the plate, Tice is hitting .276 with eight base hits .. including a double and two triples .. and has six RBI and five runs scored. 

The Wildcats are 2-0 in the United East as they get into the bulk of their conference schedule.
