NTL BASEBALL: WELLSBORO ONE-HITS SAYRE IN 15-0 ROUT (April 9, 2026)

SAYRE — Wellsboro used a huge third inning to end their game with Sayre early, downing the host Redskins 15-0 in NTL baseball action here Thursday.

The Hornets scored a run in the first inning and led 3-0 as they went to the third, plating 12 runs, while one-hitting the Redskins.

Gage Baltzley got the win, going two innings and not allowing a hit or a walk while striking out three. Izaya Campbell threw the final frame, giving up a lone base hit while walking one with one K.

Gabe Cuneo collected three base hits in the win and added three RBI and two runs scored. Coen Tennis had two hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs while scoring once and Cameron Tennis had two hits, with a triple, and had an RBI and three runs scored.

Reed Richardson had two hits, three RBI and two runs scored, Griffin Morral had a hit, an RBI and a run and Max Mascho had a hit and two runs scored. 

Baltzley had an RBI and a run scored, Kody Enck had an RBI and Marek Mascho and Silas Pietrzyk each scored.

Wellsboro (3-1) is scheduled to host Cowanesque Valley (7-0) on Saturday.
