NTL BASEBALL: WILLIAMSON FALLS LATE TO WYALUSING (April 11, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWYALUSING — Williamson rallied to take a late lead on Wyalusing but the Rams answered and edged the Warriors 9-7 in NTL baseball action here Saturday.
Williamson jumped out to a 3-0 lead in their first at-bat before Wyalusing scored a run in the bottom of the first, tied the game up in the bottom of the third and took a 4-3 lead with a run in the fifth.
The Warriors rallied for a four-run sixth inning to take a 7-4 lead but the Rams scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth and held on for the win.
Maddox Hartman had three base hits in the loss and added three RBI. Kohen VanDelinder had two hits and scored twice, Weston Copp had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Spencer VanDelinder scored two runs, Alex Watson scored once and Owen Cilino had an RBI.
Kohen VanDelinder pitched three and two-third innings and allowed three runs (2 earned) on two Wyalusing hits and four walks with four strikeouts. Hartman threw two innings and gave up six runs (2 earned) on four hits and three walks with one K and Spencer VanDelinder recorded one out.
The Warriors (1-5) are at Oswayo Valley on Tuesday.
