TIOGA COUNTY — The NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro baseball’s Cameron Owlett and Lady Hornets softball player Ady Frantz.

Senior Cameron Owlett helped the Hornets to a 3-0 week, batting .556 with five RBI and four runs scored. 
Owlett had two base hits and drove in four runs in a 10-0 win over Troy, had a triple and a single, an RBI and three runs scored in a 15-0 win over Sayre and had a double and scored a run as the Hornets beat CV, 7-5.

Sophomore Ady Frantz led the Lady Hornets to four straight wins, hitting .588 with a home run, three triples and a double while driving in 12 runs and scoring six. In the circle, Frantz went 3-0 and struck out 38 batters in 18 innings of work, including recording the 200th strikeout of the sophomore’s varsity career.
