2025-'26 ALL-TIOGA COUNTY BOYS BASKETBALL (April 13, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The 2025-’26 All-Tioga County boys’ basketball team is highlighted by our ‘Player of the Year’, North Penn-Mansfield senior Andy Hermansen.
Hermansen, the Tigers’ lone, non-senior starter in ’24-’25, increased his role and his productivity in ’25-’26, putting up more than twice his points per game (14.9) from a season ago (6.9), hitting 34 threes and shooting 73% from the free throw line (61-84). The 6’ 4” guard scored in double figures in 19 of 12-11 Mansfield’s 23 games and had 20 or more points four times.
Hermansen also grabbed 6.2 rebounds per game, handed out 3 assists per outing and while drawing defensive responsibilities on the opposing team’s best player, had 2.4 steals and a block per game.
Hermansen is joined on the All-Tioga County First Team by senior NPM teammate Jason Harer, North Penn-Liberty senior duo Luke Kreger and Evan McTish, Wellsboro junior Colin Fletcher and Cowanesque Valley junior Ashtyn Burdick.
Harer, the 2024-’25 NTWSR All-Tioga County 6th Man of the Year, had 14 double-doubles this year and averaged 14.4 points and 10.4 boards per game. He scored in double figures 15 times, had 17 games with double-digit rebounds to finish with 14 double-doubles and added 10 assists (3.6 apg) to his 22 points and 11 rebounds for a triple-double in a win over Wyalusing.
The Tiger big man is the '25-'26 All-Tioga County ‘Defensive Player of the Year’, averaging 2.3 blocks and 1.7 steals per outing.
Kreger averaged 13.9 points a game .. finishing his Mountie career with 911 points .. and hit 34 threes, while adding 3.1 assists, 4.5 boards and 2.1 steals per game. The 2025-’26 All-Tioga County ‘Offensive Player of the Year’ scored over 20 points seven times and hit double-digits in 19 games while normally being covered by the opposing team’s best defender.
McTish went from being the fourth or fifth option on the Mounties’ ’24-’25 league and District championship team to leading Liberty with 14.6 points per game. The ‘All-Tioga County Breakout Player of the Year’ grabbed 9.8 rebounds per game. With 17 games in double figures scoring and 15 games with double-digit boards, McTish finished with 12 double-doubles and added 2 steals per game with 14 blocked shots on the season.
Fletcher averaged 13.5 points per outing and led the West with 48 threes on the year while adding 1.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game for the 12-12 Hornets. The junior scored in double digits 16 times and had a pair of monster games against Troy .. going for 31 and 24 points in Wellsboro’s wins over the Trojans.
Burdick helped CV to a five win improvement in ’25-’26, averaging 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Last season’s All-Tioga County ’Newcomer of the Year’, Burdick scored in double figures 10 times, including back-to-back games of 21 and 23 points against Liberty and Canton, and scored eight or nine points in seven games.
