NTL TRACK & FIELD: NP-MANSFIELD BOYS SWEEP QUAD MEET, LADY TIGERS 2-1 (April 14, 2026)

CANTON — The North Penn-Mansfield Track & Field teams competed at a quad meet in Canton with Williamson and Northeast Bradford on Tuesday, where the boys went 3-0 and the Lady Tigers were 2-1.

The boys scored 116 points, ahead of Williamson (59), Canton (43) and NEB (42).

Luke Kreger won the high jump (6-6) .. where Colton Pellett was 2nd (6-2) .. and the long jump (19-1.50) .. where Pellett was 2nd (18-8.75) and Brody Grinnell was 5th (17-5.25). Pellett won the triple jump (38-0.00) with Gage Wheatley taking 3rd (37-2.75) and Grinnell took 3rd (35-5.00).

Deakon Valentine won the discus (135-5.00) and the javelin (146-2.00) .. with Grinnell taking 2nd (132-4.00) .. and was 2nd in the shot put (40-3.25) .. where Kyle Early was 5th (34-8).

Braden VanLoon won the 400m (53.84) with Charles Aumick taking 3rd (58.24) and Michael Knefley won the 800m (2:05.00) with Sudan Benner taking 4th (2:10.50).

In the 1600m Mason Forer was 2nd (4:58) and David Graf was 3rd (5:02), Caleb Post was 2nd in the 110m hurdles (20.20) and Aumick was 4th (21.90) and in the 300m hurdles Isaiah VanLoon was 2nd (46.60), Aumick was 3rd (49.50) and Post was 4th (50.90).

Graf was 3rd in the 3200m (11:22.20) and Forer was 4th (11:25.70), Jeremiah Lawrence was 5th in the 100m (12.34) and Aumick was 5th in the 200m (25.60).

The Tigers wept the relays, winning the 4x100m (44.64), the 4x400m (3:40.34) and the 4x800m (9:13.00).

The Lady Tigers scored 74 points, behind Williamson (99.5) and ahead of Canton (61.5) and NEB (25).

Jaci Fairchild won the 1600m (5:41.50) .. where Leila Garverick was 5th (5:59.20) .. and Madilynn Scott won the triple jump (33-5.00) .. with Alaina Rebardi was 5th (25-5.75). 

Scott was 3rd in the 100m (13.94), Gabby Bubeck was 2nd in the 200m (29.44) and Abigail Hazelton was 5th (30.14), Maryn McCarthy was 2nd in the 400m (1:07.00) and Scarlett Graham was 2nd in the 800m (2:32.00).

In the 3200m Fairchild was 2nd (13:00.90) and Garverick was 4th (13:34.70), in the 100m hurdles Anna Owlett was 2nd (18.94), Victoria McTish was 3rd (20.44) and Hazelton was 4th (20.84) and in the 300m hurdles McTish was 3rd (54.20) and Owlett was 4th (51.50).

In the javelin, McCarthy was 3rd (72-8.50) and Iris Irwin was 4th (61-8.00) and Scott was 3rd in the long jump (14-7.00). Mansfield won both the 4x100m (52.44) and the 4x800m relays (11:21.59).
